We provide strategic coaching on leadership skills and personal effectiveness as well as guidance on how to use these leadership competencies to better manage the people part of your business.

 

Coach to business head on effectiveness and people leadership: clarify or define business mission, vision and strategy; assess and coach on leader competencies; sounding board for employee, HR, and communication strategies

 

Coach to HR lead on being a strategic, effective, action-oriented partner: evaluate existing state (company and HR lead capabilities); draft personal and department goals and action plan; provide ongoing coaching and feedback on progress with revised action plan

 

Coach to HR or business lead on talent and organizational development initiatives and change leadership: strategic data use and analysis, culture assessment, employee engagement/surveys, succession planning, leadership development, workforce analysis and position restructuring, learning needs analysis, competency models, curriculum and training development, diversity planning, overall HR capacity assessment and strategic plan, change management, project management, employee and leadership communications, team transformations, performance appraisal systems (designing, enhancing, replacing/ending), recruitment/retention strategy (including branding and creating purpose and meaning)

 

Coach to women facing career change and opportunties: work together to redefine their career path, negotiate packages, or excel at their current company

Day-to-day Operations

We also provide practical advice or an extra pair of hands to support recruiting, performance management, internal communications, compensation, training and general employee relations issues.

 

Recruiting: outline requirements, draft position description, coach on compensation, search/post, coordinate with external recruiter (if needed), screen, conduct initial interview, coach business on interviewing and evaluating, consult on negotiations, draft plan for onboarding

 

Performance management: coach manager on performance or employee relations issues, including effectively working through issues with employee and/or team and how to move toward proactive, positive approach; design, enhance, end, support appraisal systems 

 

Internal communications: edit/structure presentations and emails to employees and leadership; consult on communications for employee motivation and performance 

 

Compensation review: review existing salaries/hourly rates, compare to marketplace and for internal equity, validate with business, provide report out on lows and highs with recommendations

 

Training: provide overviews of new manager best practices (hiring, retaining, developing employees and teams), service skills, communication skills

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Hourly rate for 2015: $300 USD; best suited for Miami or Toronto area companies but very open to working with you remotely.
